The Given House | Modern Midtown Stay

I feel we should receive a 50% refund for this stay due to us being booked under false pretenses. We were not satisfied Positive: I like that it was spacious but we didn't have the amount of rooms or beds that were said to be available in the description. Negative: It had trash filled garbage on the curb. It had an unpleasant odor upon arrival which was very unpleasant and confusing because we asked for an earlier check in and were denied because they said it was being cleaned. The master bedroom's bathroom and garage were infested with ladybugs. The garage was supposed to be a game room but it was leaking, muggy, and had a bad odor and it was dirty, dusty, and had trash from the previous guest. The kitchen sink was clogged and we had to continuously plunge while cooking, cleaning, and washing dishes. The dish washer did not work. The garbage disposal was not working and also had an odor and was leaking. The kitchen is an important amenity to myself and family because I'm a chef and I have a big family. We had to share beds due to there not being enough space as the description said to be. The outside patio was dirty as well. There was not as many rooms and beds as explained in the description. There was no spa room. The pictures that were taken were edited because the property was not the same as what I saw. We had to also plunge toilets as well as clean before we could settle in. The master bedroom sink was clogged on one side. The soap dispensers and shampoo were filled with the same product. Tissue was not properly stocked and we had to look for things that should have been properly displayed for customer convenience. The gate wasn't operable. It didn't lock and couldn't stay closed which allowed another dog to come in and chase my son. The playground and outside activity was not in good condition to play safely in. It gave health hazard.

This was a beautiful home with great location and amenities Positive: This spacious 5-bedroom home was absolutely beautiful and provided a very accommodating layout for our group. The bonus amenities, like the outdoor swing playset and the indoor game room, were huge hits and kept everyone entertained throughout the stay. Negative: While the home appeared clean at first glance, the areas under the furniture and the couch cushions definitely need a deep cleaning; they contained food trash that my 1-year-old granddaughter unfortunately discovered. Leave it to the kids to find all the germs! Despite that, the property is wonderful, and I would 100% book another stay here.
